Today I Learned – January 6/12

  • Every person has a unique tongue print.  I would like to know exactly what crime would have to be committed to necessitate the capture and comparison of tongue prints.  And possibly partake in it.

  • If you want to see some interesting people, just go grocery shopping on a Friday between 2 and 3pm.  Is interesting the right word?
  • There is at least one item in your fridge that “fits in there”, but doesn’t really quite go in the way it should. (Sideways margarine for the win.)
  • If you are one of 20 houses that put out your recycling bin on a windy day, you will be the one of 20 houses that has to walk across the street to reclaim your now splintered and now slightly warped piece of blue plastic.  (Which will then ironically go in some sort of recycling bin.)
  • When you’ve got the balls to quit your job, grab a one way flight to London, then backpack through 17 countries over the course of a year and post a video about it, you’d better believe I’m going to show that video.
